British Airways to move airports in Berlin
In June 2012, British Airways will be moving to a new airport in Berlin.
On 2 June 2012, Berlin Tegel airport will close and from 3June 2012 all flights to and from Berlin will operate from the new airport, Berlin Brandenburg (BER). Currently under construction, the new high-tech airport will be located two kilometres south of Berlin.
An airport shuttle express train will transport customers direct to Berlin city centre in just 20 minutes
The closure of Berlin Tegel and the existing airports around the city will mean that Berlin Brandenburg will become the sole airport for Berlin, which will ensure simpler onward connections for your customers whoare continuing their journey from Berlin.
