Virgin Atlantic – Celebrating the West Coast

As Vancouver celebrates its 125th birthday this year, Virgin Atlantic is delighted to announce the launch of their new route from London Heathrow. The new service will commence 24 May 2012 and will operate four times a week on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Initially the service will run throughout the summer up until 27 October 2012 and will see up to 40,000 Virgin Atlantic passengers travelling between London and Vancouver in the first season. As their 34th worldwide route, they estimate that it will deliver around CAD$54million of tourism revenue to the Vancouver market each year.

In addition to the new service to Vancouver, Virgin atlantic also launches a second service to San Francisco. The new service will begin 26 March 2012 and will run throughout the summer until 26 October 2012. It will operate three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
